I need to write a song for a proposed Edward Scissorhands musical adaptation. The songs needs to be about how Edward loves Kim but can’t tell her / how he is in love with Kim and just wants to hold her in his arms but can’t because of his scissor hands. It will be titled “Cut OUt for Love” as he is not cut out for love and is a play on words about his scissor hands. I want it to have a similar vibe to If I Could Tell Her from Dear Evan Hansen. I began writing some lyrics, but Im just so stuck and stressed and need it done ASAP.

VERSE 1:

Pre chorus:

And so I’ll stand from afar
